March Updates

General: Restrict Manual Item Button by Role

- We have a new setting to restrict employees by role when using the manual item button. This is to prevent employees from creating random items without manager/store owner approval.

- We’ve added a new column for the total due in the Lost and Void Ticket Report.

Report: All Invoices with Notes Summary

- We have a NEW report called “All Invoices with Notes Summary”. This is the summary of the invoices (not separated by garments) with the balance column.

February Updates

Report: Batch Payments

- On the batch payment report, we’ve added a new column for the reference number and the employee who processed the payment.

Report: Customer Spend - Detail

- Store credit is now showing on the report “Customer Spend - Detail”. 

For the store credit WITH negative amount, that is the store credit amount that was used to pay the invoice. 

For the store credit with NO negative amount, that is an excess payment and was deposited as a store credit.

Report: Customer Spend - Summary

- This is a NEW report on customers where it will show the store name, name of the customer, total amount of the invoice paid (total paid), and total amount given by the customer (total in).

Report: Favorite Reports Feature

- This new report feature includes added functionality wherein you can now designate specific reports as favorites, thereby streamlining accessibility and enhancing the overall POS experience. This feature enables you to compile a list of frequently utilized reports for easy access, facilitating efficiency in navigating through the platform.

January Updates

Customer App and Portal:

  • Timeslot for pick up and drop-offs

- Customers are now able to select a time slot for their pick-ups and drop-offs, instead of a specific hour.

  • The price level can now associated with a locker location

- With the new setting enabled, a locker’s location can now be linked to a price level.

  • Ability for users to select a Return date on the lockers

- The customer can now select the date on which their order must be dropped at the locker. This is enabled with a setting. 

Enlite Routes:

  • Customer Name in the locker invoices

- The customer name is now displayed on the locker invoices.

  • Notification filter “Order Delivered” is now shown in the delivery screen

General: Pre-selection in discount/fees by service type

- We have a new setting where you can pre-select where to apply the discount or fee by service type. This is for both the invoice detailing screen and pick and pay.

Example:The store has the setting to have “dry cleaning” as the default when you click the discount/fee button.

- We have created a new setting to limit access to manual discounts at both the pick and pay and invoice detail screens. Once the setting is added, the option to add the manual discount will be hidden in the employee role that you do not want to have access to.

- Payment types can now be shown in customer receipts and invoice printouts. This can be enabled with a setting.

  • Ability for customers to select the location on multi-stores enhanced

- We have a new setting that can force the customer to select the store.

- Points and Rank is now showing in the portal

  • Locker Order Notes

- We can now add the locker notes as check boxes. This will be enabled with a setting.

  • Price level with a locker location

- Some stores have numerous lockers scattered throughout the city, and they require that some of those locations have different prices. In that case, we have created a new setting to associate a price level with a locker location.

Fixes: Enlite Routes (Version 3.3.23)

  • Grouped stops’ invoices are now being added correctly to the route.
  • Focus on the input field on the “Scan Invoice” screen.

  • Route alerts will only be displayed once and not with every new invoice.

  • All orders that are paid when booked or picked up will be labeled as “prepaid.”

  • The block of settings that is sent with the reports was shortened.

  • New setting to skip weekends on the lead time and turnaround rules

- With this setting, if we have a 1-day lead time, it will be considered business days, not calendar time.

We now have an option to recover deleted customers in customer manager. It will recovery all the customer information and all the history including the billing information, credit history, membership history, sales information, ticket history and notification history.

The Discount label tab in pick and pay has been modified to Discount / Fees.

At the store level, we have a new setting where it will force you to enter the ticket notes before saving the order. It will force you to add the note ONLY the first time you try to save it.

If you want to ALWAYS pop the ticket note modal, you need to set it up at the customer level under billing information.

General: Item and Price - Removing upcharges from all items

We now have an option to remove an upcharge from ALL items.

Because thousands of temporary records are being created if you click on + New Customer and then don’t save or even enter any information, we’ve added a confirmation dialog to force you to save or delete records.

General: Customer walk-in due date override lock

We’ve added a new button to lock a specified due date. When the icon/button is clicked to “lock”, it will lock the specified due date. This will override the default due date as long as it is set. When the icon/button is clicked to “unlock”, it will unset or reset the due date to the default.

Report: Payments - Late Fees Charged by Customer by Period

We have created a new report under “payments” called “Late Fees Charged by Customer by Period.” This report will show the customer to whom the late fee has been added, which invoice it appears on, the fee name, the final price, and when it was generated.

We have a new print setting that will allow customers to see how much store credit they have on their account. The store credit balance will be displayed in the receipt.

  • Mobile Payments
    - By default, mobile payments is enabled for both the customer and driver apps, but we could make it available for the driver only if we don’t want the customer running payments.
  • Change to the “Add Customer” screen
    - The “+ Invoice” button was removed. Instead, the driver will be asked if they want to add an invoice when creating a stop or a one-time stop.



If you create an invoice after selecting the One Time Stop option, it will ask you again if you want to add the customer to the route or create a one-time stop.



Time slots were disabled for the New Invoice Advanced Form​​​​​​
- Drivers who create their invoices with an items menu will be able to select hours and minutes, along with a better detailed calendar.

  • New customers are created from the driver app to be added as permanent stops to the route they are being created from. Previously, they were created as One-Time Stops.​​​​​​

  • Invoices created after the route is started will be added if the stop is added.

After the route began, an invoice was generated. It shows up when adding the stop while on the route.

  • Changes to Scanner Screen
    - There will be no difference between a Bluetooth scanner and a camera. It’s all integrated into the same screen. Users can scan with their cameras, with Bluetooth scanners, or input the invoices manually.
  • The ability to share the pre-route report before starting the route
    - On the stops selection screen, the employee can now send an email with the stops/invoices that have been selected. This is for customers who require saving the stops and invoices before starting the route and sharing them with the feedback employee.


  • Credit Card Manual as a payment option
    - Credit card manual is now added as a payment option. There is a required field for the driver to input the transaction number.
  • Payment Status
    - The payment status of the orders is now included in the Pre-Route and Summary reports.
  • “Total due” modal
    - If there is a partial payment, the total due modal will now show the updated balance or the unpaid amount. Before it showed the total due.


  • Customer seach bar
    - Customers who are gathered under one stop will be found using the search bar. Before, it was only looking for the main account.

- The City and State information can populate automatically by adding just the Zip Code in the POS. This is enabled with a setting.

- When using a touch screen and when keyboard is enabled, we can now use an alphanumeric characters PINs. This will work with a setting.

  • Birthday field on the customer registration
    - We have now an option to add the birthday field on the profile page. This is enabled with a setting.
  • Ability to re-allocate customers automatically to another route when changing their zip code
    - If the customer changes their zip code from the User Profile section of the app, and if that zip code belongs to another route, it will be automatically re-allocated. This is only applicable for the stores that has the default route setting. This is also enabled with a setting.
  • Promos of first mobile order use
    - With a setting, we can make the promos applied only with the first order after signing up.
  • Customer ID field
    - Customer ID field can now be included on the registration. This is enabled with a setting.
  • Cancel order option in Version 4 and Version 5
    - For unpaid orders, customers can now cancel the their booked orders in V4 and V5.
  • Credit card modal
    - Credit card modal will not be closed if there are any errors. Before, it would close and the customers would need to open the form again.

    - Customers will now be able to enter notes for the items and select the color of the garments.

  • Driver is now able to add existing invoices to a stop when arrived: This is only using the scanner feature.
  • App prevents creating duplicated accounts
    - An error will display if the email that you are trying to add is already assigned to a different account.
  • Ability to determine when to allow the driver to take payments:
    - With a new setting, we can determine if an order can be charged when picking it up and/or delivering it. By default, they will only be able to take payments for delivered orders.
  • “Edit” button is now available
    - Driver will be able to edit the customer information before arriving or opening the stop.
  • “Driver Arrived” notification​​​​​​
    - Driver arrived notification is now available.
  • Customer ID​​​​​​
    - The driver can now enter the Customer ID upon registration.
  • Changes to the Summary Report
    - We added information such as the driver name, route name, session id, device, and settings block. The settings block is for possible troubleshooting purposes and will be useful for support to determine the app behavior.

- ​​​​​The Multiple HOLD invoices option is now available. You have no limit to how many invoices on hold you have now. Please remember that ​the on hold tickets are stored in the station’s session.

The way you make it work is this:

As the orders are being detailed and need any kind of interruption, you click on the HOLD button:

Once the “interruption” is over, you need to click on the INVOICE word at the bottom bar.

If there are on hold invoices, a window will pop up with the list of customers with on hold invoices.

  • Notification to the store when someone changes their regular route

If in your app, you provide your customers the ability to select their regular route and they change it, you should now receive an email with the details of that.

  • Not Picked Up status

This is intended for when the driver adds the order to the route but is not able to pick up the order. Similar to the already existing Not Delivered. These orders will actually remain in their previous status (Booked and Out For Delivery).

  • Ability to create new customers

The driver can create new accounts and add them to the route. Both before and after opening the route.

  • Feature to add existing customers to the route

The driver can add stops to the route from existing customers in Enlite. Prior to this, they could only add One Time Stops.

  • Ability to change customer’s name and last name

Before this, they could only edit the contact details and address.

  • Login Failed message

When trying to log in with a wrong credential, the app will now display a message letting the user know that either their email or password is wrong, and they should try again or contact their admin.

  • Setting to Auto-Select Regular Stops Invoices

When having the filter Auto-Select Regular Stops enabled, it automatically adds the stops but not their invoices. When having this new filter also on, it will select the stops and their invoice.

  • Due Date in sorting options

When displaying the stop sorting options, one of them was Date. It was changed to Due Date, and if using it, the app will sort the stops with their invoices from oldest to newest.

This is enabled with a setting altogether with the notification that is sent to the store when the driver finishes running the route called “Summary Report”, among other notifications. If you are not receiving them please request Support to enable them for you.

  • Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

- This is a new feature where customers will be forced to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when signing up. It will be also available in the User Profile and in the registration.

In the login screen, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be the ones listed in Dark’s website by default. You can only change the link of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy showing in the registration and the user profile.

- We incorporated a new field in the registration and User Profile for the customer to enter their Company name. This field is optional for the user. It’s not mandatory.

  • Discounts added to Promos Page

- The percentage discount is now available in the promos page. The customers will be able to see them only, not apply them.
